1. Intellectual Property
All content on creaofreak.ca and all projects in our portfolio, including designs, graphics, text and code, belong to CREAOFREAK. No one may copy, reproduce or reuse them without our written permission.
2. Client Information
To start a new project, the client must provide all the complete information and materials requested by our team.
3. Website Design Process
Every website is designed in three stages:
- Stage 1 – Discovery and initial design: We hold a meeting with the client to gather information. Once we receive everything we need, design begins, and the initial design is prepared with the client’s approval.
- Stage 2 – Review and changes: We present the initial design to the client, who can tell our team any changes they want implemented. Once the client approves, the project moves to Stage 3.
- Stage 3 – Finalization: We finalize the website. After that, we make up to two rounds of minor revisions. Changing the template or adding new pages is not a minor revision.
4. Payment
Payment is made in two installments: 50% before the initial design and the remaining 50% after the client confirms the final website. The website is not handed over to the client until the final payment is received.
5. Products
If the client sells products, only the number of products agreed in the contract will be added to the website. Additional products will be charged separately.
6. Additional Services
Any social media or branding design must be requested before Stage 1 and the signing of the contract. If these services are added after the contract is signed, a separate contract is required.
7. On-site Work, Filming and Photography
Any in-person meeting, on-site filming or photography must be arranged with our team in advance.
8. Client Content
The client is responsible for making sure that all text, images, logos and other materials they provide are theirs to use, and that they do not infringe anyone else’s rights.
9. Delays and Cancellation
If the client does not respond or provide requested materials for [X] days, the project may be paused and the timeline extended. If the client cancels the project for any reason, the first payment is non-refundable, and the website, project files, usernames and passwords will not be handed over until the full payment is made. Domain and hosting are paid for one year. If the client has not completed payment and received the website by then, they will not be renewed and will expire and be cancelled.
10. Portfolio Use
CREAOFREAK may display completed projects in its portfolio and on social media, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
